Second Chance

Sam Nagy knows how difficult life on the streets can be. While dealing with mental illness and drug addiction, Sam was often living on the streets. As a former inmate and current employee with Community Partnership of Southern Arizona (CPSA), Sam is a powerful testimony to the fact that recovery works.

The Second Chance Recovery Program provides employment opportunities for those overcoming a difficult past and establishing a prosperous future. Second Chance Tucson will host a community forum focused on strategies to overcome challenges faced by people with prior convictions. Discussion will focus on why successful re-entry matters to our entire community.

Read more about Sam’s story, and how Second Chance is working for people who have completed their sentence and want to move forward in the Tucson community in this story from the Arizona Daily Star.

Danny Howe is another success story from Second Chance.  Read more about his story in the Daily Star.
